weightlossproblems:

note: This is NOT intended to be an ED trigger or ED related. What the submitter meant was that while it’s nice to hear those things, they still feel like they did when at their highest weight. I know many who have reached their goal weight will be able to relate to this, and even those who haven’t reached their goal weight yet will. I know I have had moments where everything I’ve accomplished hasn’t felt like much and I felt like I still looked as I did when I was at my highest weight. The best way to snap out of this funk is to recognize your accomplishments. Whether it be by looking at a picture of yourself at your highest weight, then looking at yourself in the mirror, or telling yourself that you just went on a mile run, when before you couldn’t even walk a few blocks. You have all come so far, even just by making the decision to get fit. Embrace the new you <3
